Machine polishing that removes swirl marks, scratches and haze, then a ceramic coating to lock the finish in. Three correction levels from £240; Stage Two includes the 7-year coating. Every package includes a free 2-year wheel coating.

Common questions
What's the difference between detailing and valeting?
A valet cleans the car. Detailing corrects and protects the paint — removing swirl marks and scratches by machine, then sealing the finish. It takes longer and the results last.
Do you come to me?
No — J.R Detailing is unit-based. All work is done indoors at the unit in Derby, where lighting and conditions can be controlled properly. Directions are sent when you book.
How do I know which package I need?
Send a couple of photos of the paint in daylight, or bring the car in. We'll look at the defects and paint depth and recommend the lightest option that will actually get the result you want.
Will paint correction remove stone chips?
No. Polishing removes defects in the clear coat. Chips, dents and scratches that go through the paint need bodywork or a respray.
Do I need a ceramic coating?
Not always. A coating makes the car easier to keep clean and protects the corrected finish for years. Stage Two includes one; with Gloss or Stage One it's optional.
